Job Duties:
- Research ideas, plans, potential projects, and contacts as requested by the President, Sales Manager or Controller.
- Updating customer email addresses, customer phone numbers, and billing information.
- Monitors “live chat” interface for website chat. Responds promptly (within 24 hours) to customers online providing necessary product and pricing information.
- Provide customer web page help to complete online web purchase. Provide resource information (i.e., tech assistance, sales representative follow-up, etc.) to assist customer’s online experience.
- Maintains customer accounts.
- Process vendor credit applications, tax certificates.
- Answers telephone calls.
- Screens incoming calls and visitors for the President, Owner, Sales Manager, or even Controller.
- Counting office inventory items and placing orders with vendors-local vendors, if required.
- Complete the necessary documentation including QuickBooks/Stone Edge system reports, billing (printing invoices may be necessary), closing accounting, maintaining closing reports binder and internal documentation.
- Performs filing, typing, data input, and other clerical support to all of the other departments and personnel, as assigned by the President & Owner of MGP, Sales Manager or Controller.
- Handles customer complaints, concerns, and returns via telephone and email. Tracks calls and emails within MGP master CRM log.
- Assists the President, Owner, Sales Manager, & Controller with duties, as assigned.
- High School Graduate with Office Skills/communications, leadership role training (work experience may be substituted for this training).
- Preferred: Two Year Associate Degree in Advertising, Marketing or Business Administration
- Fluency in the English language (read, write, and speak) is required as the overwhelming majority of customers, vendors, suppliers, and subordinates communicate only in that language. Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Communicating with customers, understanding customer needs, and resolving problems. OUR CUSTOMERS ARE JOB ONE!
